The new HI-991000 offers IP 67 waterproof protection in a compact casing and is loaded with features that will simplify daily testing requirements.

The 4-in-1 HI-292D glass pH electrode included with the meter has a built-in temperature sensor so that no additional temperature probe is required. It also contains a mini amplifier to boost the electrode signal and render the meter impervious to noise and interference. It is also suitable for use with most solvent based materials, paints, inks etc.

The meter shows readings from 0.00 to 14.00 pH on the primary display and shows the temperature simultaneously on the secondary LCD. The large display has numerous graphic symbols that guide the user through the operations including a stability indicator for the pH electrode which helps non-technical users determine when to take the pH readings.

The in-built BEPS (Battery Error Prevention System) avoids erroneous readings being made due to low battery voltage. The LCD shows as a percentage how much battery power is left, so that you receive early warning of weak batteries. Battery life of the meter guarantees over 1000 hours of continuous use.

Calibration is performed automatically by the instrument at one or two points. The user can select the calibration buffers between two sets of pH 4.01, 7.01 and 10.01 or pH 6.86, 7.01 and 9.18. All calibration and user settings are maintained even during and after battery replacement.
